Pencil Lamp

Designer Tom Rossau has created table lamps, floor lamps, and pendant lamps (shown here) out of pencils. If you don't like traditional yellow, he has six other colors.

The Scribble Pendant Lamp by Jennifer Huang is made from Ticonderoga Envirostil pencils and was a finalist in the Philips Bright Ideas Lighting Design Competition in 2011..

Pencil Bookcase

Interior designer Johannes Albert created this bookcase out of pencils stuck into perforated board for the Mittledeutscher Velrag publishing company. In newer versions, he has changed the design by using different colored pencils and moving them to different positions in the board.
